Anyone hear of any new Blackberry coming out for Verizon. I want to go out and get one now but am willing to wait for a few months if a new model is coming out.

No... and therein lies the only problem with Verizon.. I really wish I could have a 7100t on a verizon network but don't hold your breath.

A new CDMA BlackBerry, the model 7250, is in the works. There are even pictures, etc. out there.

I have heard 1st week in February for a Verizon release.....

just got off the phone with VZW the 7250 is due out only through the business channel on Feb 11th. She did not have a date for th public release or pricing

And our corporate account rep - and we buy a lot of Verizon Wireless phones - said he could not provide any information until the product was formally launched.

I basically called because I purchased the 7750 on the 6th of this month for $450 and now noticed it is $299. They said I can go to the store and they will credit my card back the difference. I have 30 days from purchase to do so. That is when I simply asked if a new one was coming out soon.

$299! Isn't that great. So, maybe we can get $200.00 on eBay. Gonna get hammered with the upgrade to the 7250!

For what it is worth...I called the business support center for my region, and after checking the rep said that it is due for the business channel on 2/1.

Spoke with Verizon (for a friend) today and they said it was available NOW, as of Today....
