Default Storm2 at Telus

Please Login to Remove!

I was reading the Calgary Herald tonight and saw a flyer for Black's Photo (recently acquired by Telus) and on page 3 there was a Coming Soon ad for the Blackberry Storm2 9550. Could this be true??? Anyone know how much this would be without a contract?

Saw that on the Telus Mobility site this morning. So is this identical to the Verizon one? If so can I unlock it to use on the Rogers GSM network?

Still no news on Rogers getting this. I dont understand why they are not getting this model.
I moved from Bell to Rogers becaused they seemed to have the advantage from RIM. Does not seem that way now. I like the new Bold 2, but I am also very tempted by the new Storm 2. I would like to try them both before I decide. My contract is up in April, but I get a full upgrade now from Rogers. This is frustrating.

Ok I was at a Rogers Plus store Sunday night asking about new BBs because my contract expires on Dec 1. The girl said that all that she could say that there are new BBs coming soon before Xmas. Unfortunately they were not told which ones are coming to Rogers. How vague!!!

I works but only on 2G because Rogers 3G frequency is different from the Belus (Bell/Telus) 3G frequency. But so what, I wanted a touchscreen but did not want to go the iPhone route.

That's cool Raptor was selling a unlocked Storm here, and the price is so much better as to what we would get in Canada, but I had to stop myself from buying it. I just got my 8520 and I'll get looks if I go out and buy another device haha.
