Moved to the proper section.

Welcome to BBF.

Please make sure you read the user guide that comes with the device and our FAQ. Also peruse the 9300 section. It is pretty new, so there isn't much out there right now.

Use GOOGLE and our SEARCH feature for more information. Do a Google search for reviews.

After several years of BlackBerry's I think the 9300 Curve 3G is one of the best. Since RIM still doesn't do a very good job with the web, music or video's, and only has tiny low resolution screens, forget any top of the line BlackBerry's.

The 9300 is a great basic BB at a very good price. It excels in email and messaging and that's all I will be using mine for, once my carrier makes them available. If not, I may have to buy one and unlock it.

If you want a smartphone that's great for the Web, Music, Videos' etc, then I'd suggest either an iPhone or Android device. They are excellent in these areas. I'm platform neutral and use all three.

The issue with web browsing should be solved with the new web browser in the update with os 6 in the coming weeks/months. The 9300 is one of the devices slated for the new operating system.

I love the 9300. I've owned them all and the 9700 most recently. I switched because I've always like the Curve keyboard better. It does everything I need it to do. Love it. Not sure if I am going to update to OS6 as OS5 suits me just fine. I think I'll stick to this one until T-Mobile gets the 9800.

Enjoy all!
