Default Can't load programs

Please Login to Remove!

I downloaded some programs and tried to install them on the 8130. Using the Blackberry Destop I can find the programs to add but when I add the new program it tells me that there are no applications to load.

I thought it may be a Vista problem so I also tried it from XP and it still does not work. What am I doing wrong?

Chuck, welcome to the BBForums!

Read this: Application Loader Error - BlackBerryFAQ

And make sure you point your App Loader to the *.alx file you downloaded.

Chuck, did you read the FAQ link I gave you, which answers specifically what to do in response to the error message?

heck, I will copy it here:

QUESTION:
When I use Application Loader from with Desktop Manager, I get the error "No additional applications designed for your device were found."

ANSWER:
You must have the current handheld operating system loaded to your PC as well, when you attempt to load other applications. The handheld OS on your PC must match the handheld OS on your BlackBerry, or you will be asked to upgrade to the OS installed to your PC.

Find your current BlackBerry handheld OS on your BlackBerry by looking at Options > About. Normally the third line or the line that begins with "v."
Find and download your OS here:
BlackBerry Operating System Downloads - BlackBerryFAQ

Also, make sure you have downloaded and are using the most recent version of Desktop Manager.
BlackBerry Desktop Manager Downloads - BlackBerryFAQ

Good luck.
