Yes but after it installs you have to go through a wizard that says language and stuff. Then delete vendor.xml then open up DM and you should be prompted. Goodluck

great, thank you soo much, your really making this process much more comfortable.

it automatically backed up my files anyways, so that was sorta an unnecessary step...

hows the sound quality of the youtube stream? these earbuds they provide us with are actually decent quality, nothing amazing. But I'd say comparable to the ones that come with the ipod.

Sounds fine, just like watching a video on your device, or like your listening to music. Well I wouldn't know I use my big headphones because it has a 3.5mm headset jack so you can use any headphones.

ok its definitely speeding up and slowing down a little bit on youtube. no too much, but definitley noticeable to me, I'm and audio engineering major so maybe im just too picky.

But its bearable, and doesnt matter for non-music videos.

loads wicked fast, good picture. definitley better than blueapple

also the menu is slightly slower right now. but again worth it

You can find your PIN in Options >Status.

Funny, your profile says you have an 8330 and your carrier is TMobile. I'm assuming you have the 8320?

Did you read the notes above where many TMobile 8320 users had sim cards damaged (to the point of needing a new sim) from this OS? Also, UMA does not work for most TMobile users.

No. As the first post states, it will work on any 8320. OS can't be mixed and matched.

Yea I actually have an 8320 I just don't know how to change my profile. This new os has been amazing so far. No problems found yet. The browser is 100x better, no sim card damage. This is great!

Great to hear, but mine is acting a little funny.

When in the browser and I need to type something (say a search for youtube videos) it sometimes doesn't type. Like it just does a bunch of shortcuts.

It has reset itself about 4 times since I upgrade. In my book, thats far too many.

UMA also does not work.

I think Im going to downgrade. IMHO, 4.2 is more stable.

Default Installing to my blackberry

I have downloaded 4.5.0.37 to my pc how do i get my blackberry upgraded?

I brought my blackberry from the US and it was an AT&T running 4.2 .I am in Israel now and they run 4.5 .I am having problems with some apps.I also dont have the right Nav software for the GPS and am wondering where I can get the Navigator software used by Cellcom in Israel (Cellcom Navigator).

If someone can tell me how to instal the new OS to my blackberry I would appreciate it.If anyone know of Cellcom Navigator I would also greatly appreciate it.

my 4.5 progress report.

I have a tmobile 8320, and I tried installing the OS from the first post and it was buggy but working. Three days later, it fried my sim card.

I just installed the version from nj4x4fever's post, and it sees to be less buggy. I'll post again if my sim card dies.

In Both versions, I noticed that google maps doesn't work at all. it seems to start to load the app, then when it asks for cell locations, it hangs and i have to pop the battery. Does anyone else have this issue?
