I bought a blackberry 8330 and all I can say is...it was a major waste of my money. Next phone will be a droid or something that will allow videos to play like youtube and the such. Very disappointed with blackberries :(

Nice first post. I guess if you buy a phone that is 3-4 generations old, you may be disappointed. May I suggest a first generation iPhone.

What kind of problems did you have? Some can be easily fixed by education or other simple procedures.

U would at least expect to be able to watch youtube vids and the such on the "highly touted" blackberry family of phone...real disappointment that I hear no flash player is in development. Way behind on the times. But it works great for phone calls!

Flash? Unless you have Android 2.2 you have no Flash. You have an old BlackBerry. You bought an old device and then don't understand how to use it. Don't blame the 8330.

Yep, sounds like this guy has more money than brains, although if he chose a BB from 4 years ago, sounds like he might be pretty cheap too.

Don't blame the device, blame the person using it!

He bought a legacy device and was disappointed? Bwahahaha!! If I grew up with a couple more kids like him I never would have bothered to get a social security number. I love how it irked him so much that he registered here just to whine about it. Comedy gold.

Videos and such? Is that what you bought the Blackberry for? Blackberry is primarily geared for email, though recently they are making strides at the fun features you seek. Please, don't make a hasty generalization without looking at the newer models. For starters, try last year's 9700 with the YouTube Player Pro application, Opera browser and Google Maps, along with other free apps through AppWorld and you will be much happier. Also, consider that battery life is the best on the 9700 over any other model. If you still feel the need to pacify your erections with touchscreen capability and the like, get the new 9800. You will give the 8330 to your bratty kids to text other teenagers with.

It is often the case. More model of phone with advanced fuction. You will never catch up with them. Otherwise what they are living for. For the newest phone, they are very expensive, compared to the old ones. Different persons have different needs. The better is to choice one you need.
