I have a few different ring tones associated with different names in my address book... but it doesn't play when the associated person calls... I hate the default ringer. What can I do to fix this? Thanks in advance!

Did you try rebooting the device after setting the custom ring tune?

Yes, I tried. I just tried again as well.

Can you check and make sure that the number calling you is only in one address book listing. I had a case where the number was under two contacts. One was changed to the customized ringtone, and the other wasn't.

Also you can change the default ringer...

k, I checked to make sure everything was right... I only have 6 people in my address book so far.

When the phone rings from the people with custom tunes, it plays the default ringer... But I've changed the default. The changed default plays for people not in my address book. Weird.

Ah, yes....I forgot about that. That will definitely cause this problem. Had that problem with having my number saved in "Home" and then under my own address file that I send to others.
