I searched quite a bit, and I'm wasting way too much time on it at this point. Kinds of key word search terms I've used include just about every combination and permutation of:

8300, 4.5.0.69, 4.5.0.76, rom, os, download

...and I also use Google's advanced options, restricting searches to items no more than 1 month old, then restricting to 1 week, then 24 hours.

So far nothing. If it IS out there for the 8300, it's well hidden.

.52 isn't a disaster - but I'd like the camera to work better and I'd like the memory management to be a bit better. Other than that, I have no complaints. I'm cutting my searching back to once every few days - wasting time otherwise...

You mean a torrent site with 'direct downloads' to 800MB installations?

Yeah, I saw that one too. Wonder how many suckers fall for that?

I went out and did a quick search - shouldn't have wasted even the few minutes it took me. As I said earlier in the thread - the fact that no one at all has started a thread about their experiences with installing 4.5.0.76 yet speaks volumes about whether or not its out there in the wild yet.

Default .81?

Why is there a .81 listed in the 8310 forum if .76 is latest?

.69 would not allow a full backup using 4.5 dm. How are you doing?
I backed out .69 and went to .55 (stable)

I just got a 8820 with .52 on it. Should I put the .55 release on it?
