Is it just me, or does it seem like the 8330/8130 has been completely left out on beta leaks for at least the past 3 or so months?
.127 is in beta for the 8130 as well... not sure if it's in the wind, wild, closet, or trash.

Has the full-screen video bug from .101 been fixed in .127?

To be honest though, I haven't been looking really hard. I have become addicted to themes...or is it First 48, no wait its sex, no...I have always been addicted to that. Well whatever it is it has taken time away from me looking for a new OS. I'm also very pleased with .97. I've got Plazmic and the emulators, hopefully I'll be able to figure out how to make a theme and I'll share when or if I do.

No news on this yet? Getting bored with .97. ;) It would be nice to fix that speakerphone issue as well.

Same, same.

It really has been awhile since we have had an update.

The last OS that I installed (.97) was on Thursday, October 30th, 2008.

We're all getting quite bored, I can tell. We'll have to live with the just 'released' .119 from Sprint.

Default 4.5.0.x - Ever Getting Certified?

Does anyone think that 4.5.0.x is ever going to go official with the CDMA carriers? The 8830 seems to be a dead device at this point with all the rumors about Niagara. I'm still running 4.5.0.77 (which seems really slow) because I don't want to go through the upgrade process to 101, only to have to go through 127 or the official version in just a few weeks. Any hope for me to get 127 or the official version anytime in 2009?

Nobody knows. I've upgraded as much as two times a week when the OS's were coming out faster. If you update now and again in two weeks, its not that big of a deal.

The biggest problem I had was losing my profiles - was that a fluke or did I miss a step in backing them up?

I have looked high and low for .127 without success but am very happy with .119... fixed an email issue I had automatically and the browser is better/faster.

Worth upgrading to.

Downloaded and ran it for a couple of days and went back to .97. Didn't really work out for me. I would be interested to see if other people have better experiences and I may give it another shot. Unles I can find .127 first that is.

It is actually 4.5.0.124 and 4.5.0.131.

.127 and .131 are nothing but bug fixes in the OS.

My friend,

.127 used to be the lastest & greatest before .131 for the 8x30 devices. And this should be abundantly clear from the title of this thread.

For the 8830, the platform for the .101 apps is 3.4.0.7. If you have access to the code, which others do, you would know the corresponding platform versions.

So my questions remains - What are the 8830 platform versions for the 4.5.0.127 & 4.5.0.131 apps?

-SR
