Using the "search" button conveniently located at the top of every page, I search on the phrase "Tom Tom" and came up with this list...

http://www.blackberryforums.com/sear...earchid=537929

Looks like no one has been able to get the 7290 to pair with a Tom Tom.

you need the 4.1 handheld software (not yet released for 7290) and the latest 5.42 firmware on the tomtom.

Do you have the latest firmware on the tomtom?

What about pairing an 8700 with a TomTom? Is that possible?

Thanks. Any particular advice? Or just do it.

I just did it. ;)

Worked on the first try no errors or anything special to watch out for.

P.S. I only configured hands free and phonebook. I'm not sure if "traffic" works.

I set up mine after updating the firmware on my Tom Tom. Same things as Igreenberg but couldn't get the GPRS connection going. I think it has something to do with the BES I'm connected to though. Those profiles aren't available through BT from what I've heard.

Thanks. I upgraded the firmware on the TomTom, and the rest (pairing and transferring the address book) was just following directions. I haven't tested it yet in my car, but will today. I suspect traffic won't work because it requires a BT profile that the 8700, likely for security reasons, won't support.

Default TomTom 910 paired with BB8700

I have successfully paired my BB8700 with my new TomTom 910 and it went very smooth. I transferred the addressbook to the TT910 without problems and the call feature works great. The only that doesn't work is the functionally of traffic warnings and connection to the web through the TT910, nor does it read the messages from the Blackberry. Hopefully TomTom will come up with a fix.

Default 8700 and TomTom 910

I just paired both, but cannot get additional services aside from phonebook and hands free... Anyone has any idea when would TomTom have an 8700 working ?

Oh great! I just HAD to google TomTom. Now I want the Rider!

I guess I could put it down on my Christmas List.

I am trying to pair my BB 8700C with my TomTom 700. If I try to pair via the TomTom 700 it says it cannot find my phone although the BB8700C is set to be discoverable.

If I try to pair though my BB8700C, I am asked for a pin number but 0000 does not work...

I have just updated my Tomtom with the latest update of ver 6.150

Can you help me?
