We'll definitely need some more info about your setup to be able to answer your question.

Do you use BIS (BlackBerry Internet Service) or BES (BlackBerry Enterprise Server)? If BIS, what email carrier is it? Also for BIS, how did you set up the address on the device?

I set up with BIS with Telus. I have set up the device to that all my work emails is forwarded to my blackberry email address. because we use exchange 2007 which apparently does not talk with blackberry. In writing this reply i'm thinking until blackberry can talk with exchange 2007 thinks will remain the same. Am i correct? thanks for your reply

BlackBerry can communicate directly with Exchange 2007. I'd show your IT guy this link at the bottom of my post because it's always much more desirable to be connected to your corporate emails via BES rather than BIS due to all the extra functionality you get.

Quote:
RIM has planned for and now certified support of Exchange 2007 with BlackBerry Enterprise Server. This initiative involved an update in software to the following product release:

BlackBerry Enterprise Server v4.1.3 for Microsoft Exchange The mode of full support and certification as it relates to compatibility with Exchange 2007. Please be advised that with this release, RIM has issued the software with all of the acceptance criteria being met, thus deeming the software certifiably compatible.
