I remember when I was on Nextel, pretty much all of the phones could record your phone calls (during a call, you just hit record or go through the menu to select it). And then you just pull it up as an audio file for playback. The i850, for example. Can the Pearl or any other BB do that? If not, is there a program out there that can enable this feature? Thanks.

but with RIM devices it is not possible, if a recorder is started it distorts the call quality totally. We indeed had this with initial version of multiPlay and removed as many problems were experienced.

No, its a myth. The stipulation is you have to be a participant in the conversation.
