Running BES 4.1.2 for Notes 6.5.3
Testing on a 8703e wireless.
Followed steps on KB-12016
2) and 3) Created \Shared\Applications\DST Upgrade folder
4) Placed patch files DST Upgrade folder
5) and 6) Ran loader.exe /index - it created a couple of files
7) shared the \Research In Motion folder

Then I created the software configuration and assigned it to a specific device user as per the next 12 steps.

What Blackberry Manager shows is:
Configuration Name: DST Upgrades
Status Check Time: [blank]
Configuration Status: Unknown configuration

What does that mean and how to fix it? Please. THANKS !

actually, now it says install required.

It is now OK and the device says that patch is installed.
I guess the keyword is PATIENCE !

I have also found that if it contiues to show unknown configuration or install required if you go under the Device Management tab under Tasks and click "Update Configuration Check Status" you won't have to wait as long to see if it is working.

I guess this is the part that's killin' me the most. The 4 HOUR WAIT.
Got this message at present:

Status Check Time: xx/xx/2007 xx:32:32 AM
Configuration Status: OK
System Status: Up to date
Application Status: Install Required

Just waiting to see if it will actually deploy within the 4 hours. NERVE RACKING! ACK!!
