Default BlackBerry Storm down to $99 on Amazon (after 2 year new subscriber contract)

Just noticed that the BlackBerry Storm is now $99 after a 2 year agreement. There is no longer a need to file any rebate. Previously Amazon had priced the storm the same as the Bold -- $249.99 for those buying on a new 2yr with the ability to get a $100 mail in rebate.

I was in Best Buy today and they still have the Storm marked at $199.

When I was shopping for my Storm a month ago, Amazon had them at $149 with no rebate.

I went into the local VZW corporate store and was told that's all well and good, but I could expect to have to go back thru Amazon if I wanted to make good on a warranty claim.

Whether it was true or not, I decided to pay an extra $50 for the security of getting warranty/replacements issues delt with locally and payed $199 flat at checkout, no rebate.

Thanks for posting that. Perhaps my bro-in-law will pick one up since he's in the market for a BB.

Today I was at the Verison Store, and the Storm is "buy one, get one free", with 2 year activation and a second phone line.
