I have a curve 9360 and will be travelling to two new countries soon.

For the first I want to disable only data and still be able to use the phone for calls,

For the second country I want to disable both phone and data and just use some apps on the phone

How do I disable these services?

Also I am looking for an app to use on the phone to translate spoken french into english. Can anyone point me in the correct direction.

Options > Networks and Connections > Mobile Network > Data Services Off While Roaming

For the second question, turn the mobile network off completely.

Note that "some apps" may require a network and/or a data connection.
