When I try to use my blackberry to make online purchases it never allows me to complete the transaction. i have tried on several websites to checkout but have yet to be successful. Will the Blackberry allow you to make purchase. I know people who have used their iphone to purchase stuff on this site. Is there some type of settings on the phone that I need to change in order to allow me to make online purchases.

I have used mine several times to buy things, I'm not sure but it could be something about your bank maybe? also it could be that it times out each time.

I actually just made a purchase from Amazon using my BB browser, and it worked just fine.

I had the same problem recently. I had managed to screw up my browser, and I couldn't access secure sites. Reinstalling the software (or upgrading, I forget which I did) fixed the problem.

Check the browser options and turn on javascript, html tables, images, etc.

I have bought stuff off of eBay and the stores use those 3rd party sites to complete the transaction. They use java and it usually doesn't work on my berry
