This may be slightly off-topic, but the objective is the same: smaller fonts.
I recently upgraded from a 7100 to an 8100, and my browser settings seemed to carry over. When I switched on support for style sheets (which I hadn't been using on my 7100), the web pages displayed beautifully -- many of the fonts were smaller than I'd seen before and there wasn't a lot of unnecessary white space.
A few days later, for some stupid reason, I decided to change the default font. Suddenly, web pages weren't displaying as nicely as they were before, and the situation didn't get any better when I went back to my previous settings. Even with the narrowest typefaces (BBCasual and BBMillbankTall) and the smallest font size (6), I can't get as much on the screen as before -- and these are the same web pages, with the same content.
I've fiddled with the settings, and have even restored the defaults to see if starting from scratch would help, but I haven't been able to get my web pages to display the way they were before. I'm 99% sure I'm not crazy, at least on this subject. Anyone else experience something like this, or have any suggestions?
