I have tried youtube several times just a few minutes ago and did not have any problems, no pause at all.

Bryan...can you go to m.youtube.com and play "Emily I" (it's on the first page tonight, anyway). I got pauses in it, just as I always have...so it plays all the way through w/out pauses for you?

I tried it on my wife's VZW 8130 Pearl as well (she's on the Telus OS, I'm on Alltel) and she has the same pauses.

Frankly, I'm starting to wonder if I should believe you guys who say you can play the videos fine...you're not pulling my leg to make me crazy, are you?

My TMO 8800 gives the protocol is not specified.

You can download the video by pasting the URL using Zamzar.com. Then convert it to MP4 or Avi. They will send an email to you after conversion so you can download it. Slow but, an option for now.

I used to be able to watch videos on youtube with no problem on my VZW 8130 with OS 4.3. Once NYTimes/YouTube announced yesterday that they have opened the site to most videos (before they were very limited amounts), it says "error unsupported file type" or something like that. GRRRRR!

Ok, so I take it back. I CAN watch some clips on m.youtube.com as I did before, but only ones that seem to be from the old version (for example, the ones on the main page). When I do a search, lots more videos come up than did before and those are the ones that aren't playing (for example, a music video that someone posted. It tells me that the media type is not supported). Forgive my ignorance, but I thought that YouTube converted all videos to one format when someone uploads them. If not, then which formats are readable by OS 4.3 and which ones aren't?

What O.S. are you using. Every video I have searched for I was able to watch.

Oh and More video's is because they added all the video's to the mobile site.

You Tube has officially launched their mobile site with a significantly greater selection of videos.

I'm using 4.3.0.60. Isn't that the latest? It's what came with the Pearl when I got it from Verizon.
