I just picked up the 8130 Pearl2 from VZW and noticed that it has a 3.5mm headset jack. I am very picky when it comes to headsets and I like to use a wired headset. So the earbuds that came with it won't work for me. I've seen a lot of people on here trying to find adapters that go from 2.5mm up to 3.5mm to use their own stereo headphones. But I haven't seen anything about adapters that go from 3.5mm down to 2.5mm to use all the wired headsets they have out there.

And please don't tell me "Use bluetooth!" I'm set in my ways and talk too long on the phone for bluetooth headsets to hold up on one charge (or for me to remember to bring it out of the car to recharge).

Thanks for the links guys. I appreciate it. The only thing I can't seem to figure out from the descriptions of these products is whether or not the adapters allow the microphone/sound function of a headset or if it just converts the sound.

It seems as if the 4 conductor is the one I want because I want my headset and microphone to work. However, this site has a $20 minimum order (!!!) Does anyone know where to get 4 conductor adapters without having to drop that much $ for a $3 item??

Does anyone know if the 8130 uses a 3 or 4 conductor? I purchased the 4 conductor version and the volume is VERY VERY low and the person I call can't hear me. I really don't want to go to a bluetooth headset, but it seems like that might be the way I'm stuck going since I don't like earbuds (like the ones that come with the 8130) and I can't get my 2.5mm headset to work properly with the 3.5mm jack on the 8130.
