I wish I was selected for the beta, I miss my PD and can't wait to see if this will work for me.

Mark, if this has been addressed previously, I'm sorry. This is by far the best 3rd party app for the BB. I know RIM limits some of the functions you can pass through to your app. (bastards!)

Is there any way to display the voicemail notification icon, and/or the Bluetooth icon indicating that a connection has been established?

momaxpalmer,

Unfortunately there's no way for PocketDay to get either of those indicators at the present time...sorry.

I'm sure the answer is the same as the above but is there any way to get an icon that would show what profile you have currently active.

Cheers

Matt,

Sorry, no way. RIM doesn't allow developers access to any internal configuration information.

SWEEEET. This is truly one of the best pieces of SW for the BB. I cannot wait to go professional.

Mark - I know I've brought it up a couple of times, but I'm not sure that you've addressed the possibility yet. What I would like to see is if there could be more application hot-keys added to the PD functionality. Currently a user is allowed to assign five applications to PD home-screen hot-keys and I have easily maxed that out. Your thoughts?

Thanks Mark, thought that was probably the case.

One other thing regarding the functionality of adding a new event. I've noticed that if I add a new event in 'calender' view it defaults to whatever day I have highlighted, however if I add a new event from either the 'today screen' or the 'week view' no matter what day is selected it defaults to today's date.

I would personally prefer the event to be tied into whatever day is selected when adding the event as I would save setting the date in the event screen.

Is this difference another RIM/developer issue?
Would it be possible to have an option to 'set selected date a event default'.

Just a thought in what is otherwise an exceptional piece of software.

Cheers

Matt

I have been "testing" the software for a few days now and am finding it an awsome add-on! One small question however and I apologize if I missed this somewhere in the posts. I have a Telus 7520 (operating on BES) and the "missed" calls don't appear in Pocket Day. I have tried several different call logging options but alas none seem to allow PD to pick it up. Any (polite) suggestions would be welcome.

Also does the use of PD increase the data charges?

I know, I know, that was two questions

Moonshadow,

There's no configuration needed for PD to show missed calls. there is a bug in the BB thought with calls from Unknown callers where they won't show up. This supposedly has been fixed in the BB 4.0.2 handheld software coming soon.

Also, since PD uses the Internet for Weather and Stocks it will use data. In the US, all blackberry plans have unlimited data so it's not an issue here.
