Hi Everyone, we are about to introduce a second BES to our setup. We are running version 4.0 on a Domino server (v6.5.4).

Can anyone point me to some decent documentation on the procedure and requirements for this, including sharing the BES licence.

I don't think you can share licenses among servers, each server would need it's own SRPID and license codes. The only thing you have to do to run both servers would be to point the new BES server at the same SQL instance as the first.

You can share BES Licenses (CALs) between servers if the servers are sharing the same configuration database. The CALs are applicable to your entire BlackBerry Domain. The SRP and Authentication keys are specific to each server. Information can be seen in the BlackBerry Admin guide for Domino.
