Hi all; I'm a converted treo > bb user, and for the last year and I half I swore up and down that blackberrys were the devil. Impossible to support and completly non-user-friendly........until I got one. I've had this thing 2 days and cant put it down. Stable, easy to read, easy to use, powerful..I'm in heaven. Nice not having to worry about it rebooting when it has too many text messages waiting for me.

Anyhow, the problem that I'm having is that 40-50% of my SMS text messages are failing, and I have to resend them. I get a variety of errors, but mostly SERVICE DENIED..I've got an unlimited text plan with sprint - any ideas?

I have an 8703 with Sprint as well, and I haven't had that problem at all...Have you done a hard reset(take the battery out for about 10sec)...

That usually fixes any and all errors. Or you may have to restart your provisioning...

Options>Network>click wheel>start provisioning

Just curious are you on a BES or BIS??? corporate e-mail or personal e-mail??

I'm on redirector for my corp email-no bes. But I also have my personal email on there as well. Why? Does that make a difference somewhere?

Could be that if it is corporate they are limiting or restricting SMS's. Is this your personal BB?

Only thing on my company side that I have in regards to my blackberry is the redirector software installed. It's owned by me, and the plan is all under my personal account.

unfortunately, looks like a call to customer service may be needed, they may have to resend your service books from there end!!!
