I liked AvantGo when I had a PocketPC, but don't really have that much interest in installing it on my 7130c. I just save my top picks to my favorite list.

I agree. Avantgo, back in the day, was pretty cool. Things have advanced and I don't see it having a big use. I'm sure it works great though for people who use it.

AvantGo still works well. I find surfing the Web on my BB to be less than ideal, even on EDGE. And the content's nicely optimized for small devices. And you can add your own RSS feeds to your account, too. Give it a try!

Autodetection didn't work right, detected Direct (but didn't work, other apps do just fine) so I had to set it to BIS manually. Attempting to update/sync just ran into all sorts of tizzy-loops trying to work.

Deleted, not worth the trouble.

PS: feedback to the upstream team that it's abhorrent they want to know how much money I make and I cannot choose an option that says "I'd rather not say". That alone makes me not want to use the service, it's an invasion of my privacy.

I hear ya, that's enough to turn me off. It sounds unstable and it is not difficult to surf on my Pearl on EDGE, I have all my favorite sites bookmarked.
