I would expect nothing less as you are British, and I'm usually pretty good at sensing humour vs. seriousness, but typed words are significantly more difficult when ascertaining tone. Hence why smilies are important.

Me? Obsessing? Never....

Actually I went up to my brother's yesterday and him being a computer person, that in his day built computers that ran power stations, he was somewhat interested to have a fiddle with a phone that eats it's own memory.

A short fiddle later, having never seen a BB before, he had got me over 10MBs back.....just deleted a load of files.

He thinks it's storing things that the androids etc chuck out, and that's where the memory goes.

I was a bit disapointed to know that really, cos I had decided that the Bermuda triangle was over my house, and had figured it might possibly take my world famous shed and lose it...or at least the contents...
