so yeah i just downloaded zen and two other themes OTA, but their nowhere to be found in the theme menu. i restarted the phone too...any advice?

8700 (c) or (g) not sure, but its the newest one on cingular

i used the link from the same site as you did (for today though, not zen) for my 8703e, and it worked just fine

I'm not really sure. I have the T-mobile device which already has the theme unlocked. I think you need to look at this thread about replacing the alx that unlocks the zen theme. http://www.blackberryforums.com/ring...-4-2-only.html

Just downloading Zen OTA isn't enough. You need to follow the instructions in this thread to allow your device to recognize the zen theme:

OMS, what version of the handheld software are you running? Press alt-cap-H from the home screen and it will tell you.

Your best bet is to upgrade to a later version of the 8700 software that has the Zen theme preloaded.

ok but can i do that over the air? i dont find it worth it to install any apps on my comp, especially cause i have a mac and its not easy to sync with the berry...but i would love to upgrade, let me know thanks

you CAN get zen OTA without editing the os.. you either have to download the zen theme OTA or edit the OS on the computer (can't do this OTA like someone said), not both..

try pulling the battery and then putting it back in after 30 seconds and see if the theme appears..

I have been able to download zen OTA and I have not touched my OS (i have a mac as well)
