I am demoing ecell and I have a spreadsheet that is about 230K (on the PC) and has about 25 sheets. I synced the spreadsheet to the device (Verizon 7250) using desktop manager. It takes about 25 seconds to open it and almost 2 minutes to save it even if it’s a minor change. Is this normal for a sheet of that size?

Yes. Nothing wrong with your device. Dynoplex products are feature filled, but painfully slow. eword is even worse. I hope they do something about it - ie only open the part that is being worked on.
