Default Nexthaus Support

Please Login to Remove!

Nexthaus (Nexthaus wireless sync solutions. Sync your mobile device to your desktop using SyncML.)

I am one of the few probably who use their SyncJe product to sync stuff via my GooSync account (tasks, contacts, appointments). So I switch devices early yesterday and saw where they had "24x7 support". 24 to me means 24hours a day, 7 to me stand for days in a week.

So I switch carriers from Tmo to Vzw and was going thru the process of switching keys and codes for applications I am to install. Everyone gets back in 2 to 3 hours except Nexthaus.

They proceed to tell me that it is in the queue and will take 24 to 48 hours. But how could that be if you are 24x7? If you dont want to work weekends, then say 24x5 but not 24x7. Leaves you as the customer with a sense of you can get your questions answered not quickly, but before 24 - 48 hours.

I work in IT and am on call 24x7x365, and we mean it. I know many will see this on both sides, but when your business information cannot be synced to your device and you talk to some moronic rep that is in the backgroud talking with someone else about what to do after their shift, it does not bode well for continued business. I know its a rants and raves forums, but I want to do more than that while I walk for these DUMASes to get me a freakin registration key!

Veribiage direct from their website:

Yeah. I think I fell for this one line, hook and sinker!

I sent a chat request and they told me that that is not for technical support, but customer support only I thought to myself, what the hell does that mean?

I called and then they pushed me back to chat.

So they must be watching World Cup or reruns of Rosanne or something, because this brother here is not going to be getting any help no time soon!

Hope you didn't buy a year worth of service or something like that.

Would that be a bad thing?
I have had their lifetime plan for years and never had a new device until yesterday. Outside that, besides the occasional lack of support service obviously, I have not had probs. Just had to blow steam!
