Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry 8700g: BlackBerry8700/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

Upgrading the OS will not affect your unlocked status.

It won't be. There is no way to lock the device once it's been unlocked.

I just wanted to make sure, I upgraded from .103 to .107, went pretty smooth. I did loose my IE browser for a second though, but I just went into the host routing tables and re registered and it came back. Phone is still unlocked, now I just have to get my passport before I go to mexico.

Well done. That's how the browser is installed. It's installed by a service book which comes from TMo over the air. You did it all right.
