Exclamation Change bandwidth mhz on bb 8320?

Please Login to Remove!

Any1 knows how to alter the bandwidth on the bb8320? Like to change from 850mhz to 900mhz etc.?

The thing is, my bb is locked to Orange Uk. The mobile is in Jamaica where my provider is Digicel running on GSM 900/1800mhz. Orange is on a lower mhz so i cant connect to my provider. Is there a way to fix this?

Thankx!

PS: Im using isim to use other chip.

The 8320 is capable of connecting to the following networks. It will use which ever one is available at the time.

North America: 850 MHz GSM/GPRS networks
North America: 1900MHz GSM®/GPRS networks
Europe/Asia Pacific: 1800MHz GSM/GPRS networks
Europe/Asia Pacific: 900MHz GSM/GPRS networks
EDGE networks

You can't. Simple as that. You can't change or force the frequency.
Pay to have the BB unlocked and it will work just fine. It will find the correct carrier and frequency automatically. It must be unlocked.
