Just finished synching mine up with our BES. Nice, sleek phone.

Rolling out a few to my users over the next couple of weeks. Of course, mine was first!

Hey guys, just wondering about the holster... it's not really the leather pouch deal is it?

I received mine this morning as well. For comparison it was:
Retail: $519.99
Unit: $269.99
Disc -$100.00
------------------
Total: $169.99

I have a theme question....Is it possible to move the icons I use most often from the menu to the main screen? I'd like to have things like my calender, address book, etc more easily available. I don't care what theme I use but would like to customize the main screen for what I use most.

Thanks!

Yes its a leather pouch with a leather flap and a magnet. I haven't decided how I feel about it yet. Its almost identical to my leather ipod case.

Verizon has a holster as an option (accessory) on their site, and I picked up some nice holsters as well at Seidio Online.

FYI...the Seidio holsters are MUCH better. Some type of rubber-coated plastic. The Verizon holster is hard plastic, and the top clip tends to scratch against the device.

Just ordered mine... $99.99 (+ taxes) it will ship Fed-Ex 2 day, likely will get here tomorrow.

I'm a bit of a novice.. what is the strategy to transfer my "other" data. I know the BB server will push down all my contacts, calendar and so on. How do I migrate my "other data" such as PocketDay and PD Lists? (I also use SplashID, but I could always re-install and restore the desktop sync data)

I'm curious to know if you found a 8830-specific Seido case or you're using the case for the 8800. It was my understanding that the 8830s are a bit taller than the 8800s.

I reupped my contract for another two years BMW. Verizon burns my chaps crippling device options, but EVERY time I try to make a call, it goes through so I figured what the heck. It came to 339 (with overnight shipping) minus the 100 dollar rebate they said will be in the box.

How do you know that Sprint is not going to disable GPS too?

They never have. I use it on my 8703e daily. I find it hard to believe they suddenly would on this unit. Besides, Sprint's product information page clearly states GPS enabled.
