Default Verizon Software Upgrade?

Please Login to Remove!

I have version v4.3.0.60 and I was just wondering if there is a newer version? And if so, where could I get it?

How would my device still work on the verizon network with another carriers software on it?

What are the benefits of another carriers software?

Thanks

Ok there is now 4.3 software version for the 8830 which you have listed. I guess you have the 8130 and you can install any CDMA O.S. on your 8130.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8130/4.3.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)

I was having issues with that version. My wife has a Sprint 8130 and wasn't having the same issues. Particularly was the issue with voice dialing from my BT when the BB was in the holster. I downloaded the sprint version which is like version 72 and deleted vendor.xml and it fixed my issue. It didn't activate the GPS but maybe next time. If you haven't had the experience of loading a new OS then you can search for the post on doing it. Its easy but slow. Hope it helps.
