If this is your list of what's available as the latest version for each device, you are about a month or more out of date. There have been many versions since 4.5.0.18 for those that don't mention otherwise.

You are missing apps versions 4.5.0.20, 4.5.0.21, 4.5.0.26, 4.5.0.28, 4.5.0.29, 4.5.0.30, 4.5.0.33, and 4.5.0.37 (most recent) from the list for all of those devices. Heck, while you're listing them out, add in 5.0.0.11, 5.0.0.16, 5.0.0.19, and 5.0.0.20, as well.

Might as well give some love for the CDMA crowd and add atleast 4.5.0.33 for the 8703e, 8830, and 8330.

...just because it's not on a torrent site doesn't mean what you are able to get is the latest version.

.37 was junk for my 8320 as far as UMA goes... I tried to take the radio file from .10 on .37 but that ended up being a bad idea, opening the browser would lock up the OS.... Oops...

I'm back on a hybrid of .18 and .10 now and all is working perfectly. I can deal with this until the real deal comes down the pipe.

Thanks for trying this though.

UMA – Unlicensed Mobile Access - Provides access to cellular mobile voice and data services over unlicensed spectrum technologies, such Bluetooth or Wi-Fi (802.11). A UMA phone can use a cellular networks (GSM, CDMA, etc.) when out and about, and automatically switch to a UMA-enabled Bluetooth or Wi-Fi local network when in range, such as at home or in the office. Not supported by all wireless carriers. (Google is wonderful)

There may be a version of 4.5 for the 8700, but discussion on how to obtain beta software is strictly forbidden.

Any WiFi capable BlackBerry *can* support it (8120, 8320, 8820) but it totally depends on the carrier.

I honestly don't think this is an option. Especially with the current beta status.

I installed 4.5.0.37 on my 8820 today, the UMA function works fine just as before. My only issue is with MemoryUp showing that the device RAM is slowly draining away since I installed the new OS. A battery off reset sets it back to normal level only to be followed by 800 bytes a second going from my free memory to used memory.

Just flashed my 8820 to 4.5.0.37 beta and my mates 8800 to 4.5.0.37 beta - have to say working really well so far, had some issues with 8820 under 4.5.0.18 beta where the Wi-Fi performance was terrible, however 4.5.0.37 has done the trick, only bug I noticed so far was the About button no longer works?!? - oh well

Much better browser, media player, this firmware does run a little slower to my last but so far so good

As for the "About" button....did you remove Voice Activated Dialing? That renders the "About" option inoperative.
