I can't believe I read that whole thread.

That's okay though, I have alot of screen space on my special edition LEGO BlackBerry!

I'm thinking about putting it up on ebay. Think I should?

Does anyone know if this 4.7 support ISA? Or does it have a PCI slot? Either way I think my BB is out of luck because it only has HDMI 1.3.

I think 4.7 will only support RJ-11 connections, but that's about it. Was really banking on that PCI slot too.

Thanks for nothing RIM!

Where did you get your stone age OS? That's very, very rare these days especially when everyone's talking about 4.7 and up...

Ok fine....I'll play...

4.7 is flawless!! You can disable the camera sound and view threaded SMS, you have the ability to lock specific applications without locking the entire device, you can select vibe THEN ring and best of all it's fully compatible with all third party applications and the Memory leak is permanently fixed!! :P Good times!!!

Rumour says... it even fixes the low ringtone volume on the 8830s! I'm going to have to turn the volume down now after using Audacity to jack them up several notches.

i met this dude. he got 4.7 running wonderfully on my motorola timeport. I think my favorite update to the OS in 4.7 is the support for holographic memory.

Yeah, he said it wouldn't work on my timeport so I'm taking my Handspring Visor to him next week. He'll install 5.1.0.35 on the device, but i'll be also be dual booting WM10 from the Spring board module.
