Unable to sync Handheld from desktop
We currently have BES 4.0 running with our Exchange server. Our employees are using 4100t BB's. They are able to delete email messages on their 7100's which will then delete them on their desktop. When email messages are deleted on the desktop they remain on the 7100's, seems to be one way sync. I rechecked all setting and they are set by bi sync. Any suggestions?

That setting is on the BB. Go to Messages/Options/Reconciliation Options and change it to delete on mailbox and handheld. Be aware though, that there is a bug in the OS that changes that option back to just handheld after every sync.

The settings on the 7100 were correct, these are the current settings:
Delete On: Mailbox & Handheld
Wireless Recconcile: On
On Conflicts: Mailbox wins
Version 3.8 is running on the 7100t.
Any other ideas?

We are not sure when T-moblie will release 4.0. Let me list the issue and if any user has found a fix please let me know. This is for Wireless sysc:
1. When opening email on the desktop it will show open on the 7100 (good)
2. When deleting on the desktop the email stays on the 7100 as unopened (bad)
3. If you move an email to a Inbox subfolder on the desktop, it remains on the 7100. if you then delete it from the inbox on the 7100 it will delete it from the subfolder on the desktop (also bad).
If you connect the 7100 to the desktop using the cable and do a sysc the emails on the 7100 do not delete or move to subfolders.
Any ideas out there?

TMO will release 4.0 in the next 1-2 weeks.

For the issue with moving a message from the inbox to a subfolder and it stays on the blackberry under inbox, check the icon next the the message. Does it look like a envelope or an open folder. If it looks like an open folder then go to Messages-Options-General Options-Hide Filed Messages. Change the setting to Yes. This will hide the messages that you file into a subfolder under your inbox. Also, make sure that your users are not deleting a message using Shift-Delete or make sure that they don't have the setting that empties the deleted items when exiting Outlook on. If the Blackberry can not find the message when doing a reconcile (i.e. message deleted from deleted items) it will just leave the message on the blackberry. Since email reconciliation is a low priority task on the BES it doesn't happen instantly. So if you delete a message out of your inbox in Outlook and then go and delete it from your deleted items before the Blackberry has done its email reconcile it will just leave the message on the Blackberry.
