Sony makes some of the best a2dp headsets. I have used the hbh-ds970 and hbh-ds220.

the ds220 allows use of your own headphones but doesnt have avcrp. ds970 has built in headphones but supports avcrp.

Thanks for your suggestions Bryan, I had not even looked at those before. Anyone else got ideas or preferences?

Well, even though I may end up looking like Princess Leia - I went ahead and purchased the HT820s - mainly because I found them for only $40. It may be one of those "you get what you pay for" things, but hopefully they will turn out well for me.

After they are delivered and I get them all set up, I'll post my experience for anyone that's interested.

Most of the BB adapter I see are only for the 2.5mm jack. Is there one out there that does 3.5mm.

I would like to use my shures headset....

I got my 820s in and absolutely love them. They are extremely comfortable for my 1hr commute everyday. Taking phone calls and using the voice dial feature are great - no need to pull my phone from its case! The music sounds great both from the curve and from my Vista Business PC (using the Aluratek ABD2020 USB bluetooth adapter).

My only "con" is that they stick out pretty far from your head. These are not the best looking headphones - if you're not worried about impressing anyone (aka married) then they are great.

Motorola H 805's. Pure bass, great treble, good volumn. Lite weight and long battery life between charges.

Sony DR-BT50 is similar to the motorola s805 (full headphones style) but sounds better IMHO.

Will the Motorola S9 headset work with the Curve? I couldn't get it to work with my Pearl or iPod. Does the Curve have Bluetooth 2.0?

Yes it will.

It will not work with an iPod (without an adapter) or a pearl. (though it could do phone calls from a pearl, just not stereo audio)

Yes it does have BT 2.0.
