Everytime I turn it on it just goes to a white screen. Sometimes if it sits there for two hours it loads up. I've tried using JL_cmdr to wipe and it goes through I think and when the phone starts up it goes to the white screen again, so I tried to use the loader to reload the os it says
"The blackberry Desktop software does not have blackberry device software for the device you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or system administrator." So I went and "reloaded" the os on it with the desktop software and it says that it's complete but it still is a white screen.

Did you drop it or get it wet?

Did you load an OS for the 8520 specifically and did you remove the Vendor.xml file per our instructions?

Are you using a 9300 or an 8520?

It was dropped, I followed the instructions listed with removing the vendor.xml file. And I'm using 8520

If it is a solid white screen with no error message, just an all white screen, the software is not the problem. You have more or less confirmed that by reinstalling the software and still seeing the white screen.

I don't know what is involved in fixing the hardware. If that has been discussed I've missed it.
