Default Somebody Please Help :(

Please Login to Remove!

I am studying abroad in Spain and brought and unlocked at&t blackberry 8300 with me. I purchased a sim card through Vodafone and set up internet for bbm as well, everything was working fine. I lost my phone last weekend and had to get a new one. I bought an unlocked Orange blackberry 8520 and everything on the new phone with the new Vodafone sim card is working perfectly EXCEPT BBM. Nobody can figure out whats wrong, according to Vodafone my service is still active and BBM should be working fine BUT ITS NOT! Could it be the phone that has a problem?? Advice??

Did you log into your BIS account and change the old PIN and IMEI to the new one?

When I try to create a new account with the new PIN and IMEI it says the blackberry isnt registered, even though I've received a confirmation email that it is. So i can't log into my BIS account

What I think DubDub meant was did you log into your old BIS account and update the phone through that, not create a new account.

Go to option >>advance option >>host routing table
press menu botton and then chose "Register Now" and then see if you get the blackberry confirmation
