Default Moftware Tech. - Blackberry Swivel Holster

Please Login to Remove!

Has anyone purchased this case and if so, how does it compare with the
OEM units that come with other blackberry's like the 7510?

Thanks

Most others seem to like this one, at the URL listed below:

7100 holster

Also available on e-bay for approximately 1/2 price. Do a search on ebay for 7100s.

Hope this helps,

That one does look nice but I don't really like having to flip open the top of
the case before I pull out the phone. I really like being able to simply pull the
unit out of the holster, similar to the 7510/7520.

Thanks

I bought the Moftware swivel holster thinking it would be the same as the stock RIM holster for other bb's. The first issue I have is that the device only fits facing out - covering the back speaker and exposing the face to wear. Also, although the holster has a magnet, it seems to be located in the wrong place and does not function properly. The magnet itself is not defective - I've tested it - but should have been mounted in the center behind the number 2 key - it seems as if the manufacturer just copied the layout of the old bb holsters without testing it. Also, at a price of $59.95, it's a bit on the high side... BTW, I have the aforementioned ebay leather holster and am very happy with it - the flap is magnetic and opens and closes very easily, yet keeps the device very secure. The Moftware holster only grips on to the ridges on the blue-grey area that surrounds the back speaker, which does not inspire much confidence... I will most likely return the Moftware holster.

Thans for the feedback. I found the $60 to be a bit much and moftware is less than responsive to questions emailed to them. (The $60 because the comparable ones for other bberry's are much cheaper.) I found another plastic one on ebay that the phone clips well into and the phone can face both ways. It's made for the t series, so it fits awkwardly, but does fit well (t I think has a longer bottom and shorter top. No magnet, but I can wear it on my belt, it doesn't fall out when getting in and out of the car. And the other cables can go on and off of it while in the case.

Yea, the moftware one was crap. I sent it back, bought the leather one with the flip top and eventually a Vaja.
