Default Verizon 7250 Version 4.1 and Battery use

Has anyone see their battery use decrease significantly when upgrading to version 4.1. As of now I have version 4.0 and I get about a day of battery power. I would hate to run out of battery in the middle of the day because I upgrade to 4.1. My provider is Verizon.

If you live on a fringe area of EVDO, your battery will drain faster as the handheld switches back and forth to 1X mode.

My suggestion, keep the bb on charge when able.

with 4.1 (or 4.0.2) and evdo, there is a significant difference in speed. The only thing holding the device back is the "speed" (ram/cpu) of the device.

However, you can tether it ($15 additional per month) to a laptop and have mobile broadband speeds.

No problem with battery life. Like tomryan said, your battery will go quickly in the fringe areas.
