I just started getting spam emails about 3 days ago that always start with a "Our pick of the month is booming" or they tell about how their stock is going through the roof. Funny thing is that the spam was sent to the address ******athome@nextel.blackberry.net and I have an alltel blackberry account! Only one of the emails showed up on my home computer that it was sent to the above mentioned address and my home address. I have never given out my @alltel.blackberry.net address to anyone.

Can anyone give this a shot? It wouldn't be that bad except spam is 1000 times worse on a blackberry.

I started getting spam over the weekend too. Is there any way to filter it through gmail or something?

Spam started for me this weekend. First, I called Cingular and put my account on the non-solicitation list. Then, I entered a filter in my #####mycingular@blackberry.net account for the spam address which was ****@mobileemail.vodafone.de where *** equals the 1st four letters of my email address.

Hopefully, this will stop the spam.
