Hi everyone!

I just changed the password for my Gmail account - nothing unusual there, but here's what I can't explain:

I had to enter my new Gmail password on my computers and my Android and iOS devices. When I went to change the password on my Q10, I couldn't find the password field in the Gmail account settings; then, unexpectedly, I received a new email message in my Gmail account ON my Q10...

My question is, simply, how the heck did my Q10 know my new Gmail password on its own?!

Any advice and/or feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Reading various posts from different forums it may be your emails are being forwarded to your phone account vs. you logging in to retrieve them. My Z10 only gets email when I login but another account I have forwards to my bob email and does not use a password.
Not sure this is your issue but I would look at the Gmail account on line and see how it's setup.

You could try deleting the Gmail account on your BlackBerry and then setting it up again with the new password.
