Just pulled it down but not sure I'm going to install. Will wait for some initial feedback before I do. Just got my 8900 this past weekend and have been happy with .133.

Default .144 OS - Any Users?

New OS .144 is out, not official though.

Anyone download this OS yet and care to give a summary on improvements/issues?

I have the .133 and its pretty stable. Wasn't sure if .144 was worth the time if there are no big improvements.

thanks.

Wirelessly posted (My Curve)

I have heard around that it fixes a lot of speed and battery drain issues. But you need to discover them by yourself. A lot of it depends on your persobal useage

I'm going to wait a bit and see what the pros/cons are. Looks like it may use up a bit more memory as well.

Aside from the pure addiction of upgrading to the newest OS everytime which I am guilty of, how does .114 perform?

.114 is overall smooth but there are somethings which I experienced better with .133 over .114

1) Better camera performance. There was no lag in auto focus. The pictures are taken almost instantaneously after the shutter button is clicked.

2) Better battery performance.

I was on .114 for just 2 days before I upgraded to .133.. so this is what I experienced.
