Default TMobile Ripping its Customers off

Please Login to Remove!

I am pretty sure, now, that Tmobile has a faulty minute counter, at least in

my case. I am on a family plan, basic 700, and whenver I call within

network, which is supposed to be a free call, the minute counter would

deduct the mintues from my Whenever 700 minutes. Guys, I would really

suggest you to be keep a close eye on your minutes. Their system is faulty.

It happened with me last year too.

Let me give you an example to make it more clear to you.

I logged into my account and noted down the whenever minutes used up

until the specified online time stamp, Saturday, Oct 14th, 6:06 a.m and lets

say 67 used min of 700 in my case. Now when I checked my minutes again

in the evening around 6 p.m, the counter showed 97 of 700 used minutes

until 12:02 p.m, Oct. 14th, Saturday.

Now I don't understand why the counter would take minutes away from

whenever minutes on a weekend and on top of that, all the calls were

Mobile to Mobile.

I've started to check back on my minutes more often now and to save a

copy ( hit Print Screen), every time I log in, for the specified time stamp to

use it as a reference to dispute with Tmobile later on.

I am not really surprised at this because this happened with me last year

too and the guy I spoke with about it admitted about this error.

But its just not easy convince these Tmobile customer reps about it, coz

they would tell ya their system is accurate and something's wrong at your

end.

Guys, beware....if suspicious, always add up your minutes, excluding the

free calls

Has anyone else experienced a similar problem with their minutes?

thanks,

Have you ever checked your detailed billing to see whether you have, in fact, been charged for minutes that should have been free? I seem to recall a lot of disclaimers regarding the minute counter, but my bills have been pretty accurate as I far I can tell.

I can see where people would think they're being ripped off by a counter that shows less-than-actual whenever minutes remaining (since that would discourage them from making more free calls). But I would prefer that to TMO erring in the opposite respect, and leading me to believe that I had more minutes remaining than I actually did.

Only once in almost 5 years of being with T-mobile have I actually caught them charging me for minutes when they should not have. That was only in the cae of someones number that had been recently ported to T-mobile. The minutes don't always report right on the minute counter right away.

I have a family plan and use about 2,000 M2M minutes, none of which ever showed up on my anytime minutes.

I do think that they charge if you are calling to another T-Mo user who is roaming. I believe that's in the terms of M2M.

Just to add info on the rate plan I have, following was taken from Tmobile.com
"All our national voice plans include:

* No nationwide long-distance or roaming charges
* Unlimited weekend calling
* Nationwide Whenever Minutes®
* A low rate for additional minutes

This plan features:
Whenever minutes 700 per month
Weekend minutes Unlimited
Weeknight minutes Unlimited
myFaves minutes N/A
Mobile to mobile minutes Unlimited
Shared minutes 700 per month
Additional minutes $.40 per minute
Data transfer None"

So in my incident like I mentioned earlier, I made M2M calls on a

SATURDAY, and it deduced minutes away from the whever 700 minutes

and as you can see, according to the features, it does include M2M.

According to the online counter I had used 67 of my 700 on the same

SATURDAY, OCT 14 unitl 6:06 a.m. This implies that only 67 of my

minutes should remained used until the next monday, Oct 16th but

guess what,

the new record showed 97 minutes until 12:02 p.m, OCT 14 th

Saturday.

Does this make sense to you?

How can minutes be deducted from the 700 min bucket on a weekend,

especailly when you made M2M calls?

thanks for your response,

at first i thought... DUH! Then I realized that unless the other shared phone was in another part of the world that had not quite turned Saturday yet... those calls might not fall under M2M but infact would fall under free weekends....

However as I beleive somebody already stated... I don't know how much I trust that counter... but either way, call and complain! You might even get a couple months free out of it!

Also, billing doesn't always post to the account instantly.. Minutes could post days after usage (depending on area originating)
