Default urgent Help

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I am currently travelling in Israel where Blackberry is (I think) not available yet and left my charger at home.

Is it possible to buy a standard USB --> mini USB cable to charge ?

Anyone tried ?

Thanks a lot for your input

You mean to charge through your computer? I would think so. Good Luck!

A local computer store would have something that might work I am sure.

Though it did not work as well (it was not as fast) I have used the USB cord from my Canon camera on it and it did work. In a pinch I would say it is better than nothing.

I use my PSP COrd at home and the BB cord at work and they both work just as quickly as the other.

I've learned that the desktop software must be installed on the computer for the bb to charge via usb cable - at least on XPSP2. Several months ago after a Windows update BBs would not charge without the software - no driver found for the devices and we got the USB Device not recognized error.
