Default blackberry 8700

Please Login to Remove!

Hi there,

I recently bought a blackberry 8700 in ebay.
I wonder if you can tell me how can I connect my phone to the internet without being through the BlackBerry Internet Service™.

All cell phones here in Portugal connect to internet simply by wap. Is there any software that I can install so that my blackberry can access just like other phones??

Greetings

Nome da conta: UZOWAP
initial page: http://conteudos.uzo.pt
User: blank
Password: blank

Access point settings
Proxy: Activ
Endereço do proxy: 172.30.2.25
Port do proxy: 80
Portadora de dados: GPRS
Definições da portadora

Ponto de acesso GPRS: wapuzo.tmn.pt
Tipo de autenticação: Normal
Nome do utilizador: tmn (minúsculas)

zulmir, you might able to connect of you download Opera Mini browser. Then you need to set your TCP settings, look for the instructions at the FAQ site, in my signature below.

You won't get full data usage with the BlackBerry Data Plan. No email. The BlackBerry is not like normal cellphones.

Good luck.

I don't know what emule is. Download Opera Mini directly from their website, not another. Get the desktop download only. Follow the directions there, I can't give better directions than they have.

Use Application Loader in Desktop manager to load it by ADDING Opera Mini. You have to know where on your PC you download the files.

Default desktop manager

I've downloaded the opera from http://www.operamini.com/download/pc/blackberry/

when i run the desktop manager i can stablish the comunication. Then I run the aplication loader and i see this ...->

http://pwp.netcabo.pt/pedro_abreu/a.jpg

then when i do add for the "operette-hifi-pt.alx"

i get this -> http://pwp.netcabo.pt/pedro_abreu/b.jpg

do you think i'm with problems with the desktop manager??

i've tried all the operas from that website

yes, make sure you have the latest 4.2 version of DM. You can get Service Pack 1 instead of SP2, for your needs.
