Currently have a user who is just purchased a Tour9630 on Verizon. BES server 4.1.25. Exchange 2003.

User's contacts were synced successfully. User would like contacts from another user's contact list. I attempted to turn off the wireless sync for contacts, went into the Desktop manager Advanced configuration for Outlook, and attempted to locate the contacts folder that I needed sync'd. The user's mailbox (who needs the contacts) has full access to the other user's mailbox(who has the contacts). When I go into the other user's mailbox tree, I see contact lists there, but the specific contact list I am looking for is not there.

I also attempted to copy the contacts from the user who has it, to the user who needs it (within outlook, so I wouldn't have to access the other user's mailbox), but I received a few permissions errors, which I didn't understand because The users both had ownership rights for each other's mailbox.

Any idea's?

Would I be able to move the user's contact list to the user who needs the contacts outlook account? If that could be done, then I should be able to have those contacts sync with the BB correct?

Theoretically, yes. That would be handled on the Exchange side.
I couldn't tell you exactly how to do it.

Thanks for responses and help! I basically exported the contact list that I needed from the one users outlook account, then imported it to the account that was linked with the BES. Removed all other contact lists except for that one and now it should be OK.

My only question is now this: So with wireless sync, all 160 contacts were added to the blackberry. Now that I changed the contacts, removed all the unneccessary ones, and have just the contact list needed, how will wireless sync handle that? Will it update the Outlook contacts with the ones already in the blackberry from the previous sync? Or will it removed the contacts from the blackberry that do not appear in the outlook contacts and only add or keep the ones that are in the only current contact list?
