Default BES 4.0 Auto Backup

Anyone got this to work yet. I have tried multiple devices and have been getting mixed results.

Thanks

The auto backup feature should work out of the box for you. It does require 4.0 handheld code to work though.

Default is auto backup supposed to backup everything, even

device specific phone settings in options? eg. bluetooth pairing info and third party installed apps like 411?

any way to test the backup, eg. restoring to a different but identical hdware bb?

Use the wipe handheld option (under security) and restore from your own backup. That's generally what I try.

Default brave way to test. but it did restore fine

impressive that everything including bluetooth settings, third party apps restored.

rim tech couldnd figure out a way to manually force wireless backup, say just before installing something, but i suppose that's what manual backups do? can you give different names to manual backups in case you want to restore a particular one? or would that confuse the bes wireless autobackup and trigger a restore?
