I have a BB Curve 8330.

I have many numbers programed in but here is my issue:

I have my home phone lets say its 123-456-7890

My provider has a call forward function thus if I dial *72#123-456-7890 my calls will be forwarded to my home number.

The problem is that the BB cannot distinguish between the two programmed numbers and always thinks the call forward # is calling when my wife calls me from home.
It shows that *72#123-456-7890 is calling when its really 123-456-7890 calling and displays the wrong caller name.

Its not a big deal, but it should be correct.

It appears that the BB cannot properly link the number received in the call display info to its address book.

Hmmm, the phone is only displaying the number sent to it from the MTX (mobile telephone exchange). You have programmed the MTX to append your home number with *72.
The phone should filter the prefix, but.......
I think the short term fix is to list *72#123 etc as a 2nd phone number for your house.
