Question Software for RIM 957?

Please Login to Remove!

Yes, I'm stuck with a 957 because my company hasn't upgraded yet. It's provided by Velocita wireless, and has o.s. version 2.7.0.86 on it, which I believe is the latest. Does anybody know where I can find browser software that works with the 957? I know people here used to use the Neomar browser with it but I can't seem to find that anymore.

Thanks very much,

Greg.

Default 957

the last time I used a 957 I had GoAmerica and it worked fine. I think you have to pay for the browser service tho....

Thanks for the reply. I actually looked at GoAmerica and would pay for it if it's the only option, but I couldn't find a client for the 957. Do you know a link?

Thx

I actually checked out GoAmerica but couldn't find the 957 software there. I wouldn't have a problem paying for it if it's the only option. Do you have a link to the GoAmerica software by any chance?

Thanks

Velocita has been purchased by Sprint. Contact a local rep. Sprint is swapping Velocita devices for 7100, 7250 or 7520 units for free.

Only problem is they won't be supported by my company, so I wouldn't be able to get service paid by them. I do wish I could upgrade but unfortunately not.

Thanks for the info...

Greg.

Ok I managed to track down the Go.Web client from Rogers. It's actually branded to Rogers. I have it installed but am now stuck at the "Generating Security Keys" screen. It never gets past this. I assume I need to activate this by Rogers, right? Is it possible to get the browser working through Velocita, which is my current carrier?

Thanks again

Crazy request but can you take a pic of that thing? Man that thing is true vintage right there lol. Also I thought Cingular bought up Velocita Wireless? Also maybe check Earthlink, they did some stuff with old school BB's.
