Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8800/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

I have it on my 8800 and I like it for some things mostly if I go to secure sites and such

Opera Mini 4 causes my 8830 to lose its ability to receive/send data. The ONLY way to restore data services is through a battery pull.

Too bad -- nice app, but I avoid it unless I have no choice.

I enjoy it. I do find that sometiems it doesn't actually put text into some fields on some websites, even though you type it into the provided box. Who knows, maybe I am using it wrong! LOL

You are not alone. I have had the same problem and was never able to attain a suitable answer. Gradually lose connection and eventual need to battery pull.

I found it less than satisfying and deleted it. In my opinion, it was not that user friendly with bookmarking and the BB browser is satifactory. You cannot read pages in full mode so why bother. Overall I think it needs work as do all mobile applications.

Default Works Great!

I've been using it for awhile now and I have no complaints. Granted on sites like CNET the video links on the main page look bunched together but otherwise no problems. I don't use the BB browser anymore unless I'm taken there by another application.

Opera mini is currently not supported by Verizon devices This is a quote from Opera mini's web page. Not sure how some are using it can someone please advise.

Note to North-American users
Opera Mini is available to all Sprint and Cingular customers. Availability for T-Mobile customers is dependent on the subscription plan. BREW-enabled phones, including Verizon, are currently not supported.

They mean other Verizon phones - not blackberries. Luckily Verizon can't restrict what can be loaded on blackberries like they can on their other phones, such as only allowing "GET IT NOW" purchased apps. point your phone to mini.opera.com and you can install OTA

I have it and I like it much better than the BB browser. Seems a lot faster too.

Use the normal download. Dont worry about whether your phone is listed or not.
